Chocolate

This post is for my cousin Twinkle who says she doesn't like fashion posts and that I should get back to food posts.

On our last trip of 2009 to NYC, we dropped by the Chelsea Market while waiting for our dinner reservations at Morimoto and saw that Jacques Torres had opened a little spot inside! I couldn't resist buying a small box and carefully picked out all 12 flavors. Everything was delicious and oh-so-smooth. The flavors were sublime and somehow their tinyness (is that even a word?) didn't make them seem too decadent or fattening, heh-heh..

I think everyone should do as Jacques Torres says and "Eat more chocolate!"

How long is too long?

Yes, our tree is still up till now. Since our house is still mostly empty, having the tree up makes the place seem more lively, but how long is too long to have Christmas stuff up? On a side note, the above ornament is the first ornament DH and I bought together.

Lining

I'm loving the lining of my new bag. I like knowing that what looks like a plain bag from the outside has such a pretty surprise inside. Here's a closer look:

Magazines

I dropped by the library to return some books and saw that they were having their annual magazine sale. At $0.25 per magazine, I couldn't resist getting an assortment of food, travel, and home issues. Is Gourmet now considered a collectible?

Project 365

I'm late to Project 365, but I'd like to still participate. The idea of taking a photo a day for a whole year is intriguing and I like having some accountability.I haven't decided whether to regularly post photos here, but I will be keeping the photos on flickr for sure.

Address book

All my contact information is currently on my computer, but the above address book makes me want to have an actual copy I can hold in my hands. The New Year always kicks my paper craving into high gear. A new journal, a new address book, a new planner...all those pristine blank pages just waiting for me to scribble in..
