Busy month

My parents and brother visited for almost two weeks so I haven't really had a chance to post. What with cleaning and furnishing the house, planning trips, driving and eating too much, there just hasn't been enough time for anything else. They left a few days ago (sad) and I've been catching up on rest, blogs, and errands.

Whew, now I'm sort of semi-caught up. I feel relieved.

Know what's really annoying?

It's really annoying when you order something online, like say this Stella McCartney for Gap dress, get a confirmation e-mail, and then a few days later you receive another e-mail apologizing for the item being out of stock. Grr...!

Guest bathroom help

We've got guests coming in a few weeks, so I need help in deciding which bath rugs to keep in the guest bathroom. Oh, and all the fixtures and paint were the previous owners' choice.

Option 1 is plain and simple. I like the size as it doesn't make the room look too small, BUT is it too plain and simple?

Option 2 is my favorite, but I'm afraid it's too big for the space. It looks okay in the photos but in real life it seems to cover up too much floor space, making the room look small and crowded. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

The room still needs accessorizing, which will be the next step after I decide on one of the above options. Thanks!
