Sleepwear

I've never really given much thought to my sleepwear, but when I saw this spread in J. Crew's catalog, I started thinking that maybe I should start giving more consideration to what I wear to sleep.  I remember when I was a kid pajamas were de rigueur for bedtime.  I had house clothes and I had pajamas, and the two were clearly separated.  Now, my pajamas are my house clothes.  It's time for a change!

There's something about traditional men's pajamas that's so comforting.  It looks so crisp and effortless.

My usual sleepwear consists of an oversized t-shirt so maybe a nightshirt instead of a top and pants set would be more my style.  This silk polka dotted piece looks so refreshing, right?  And that little pop of pink just slays me.

This option is so classic and fresh but I'm afraid it just be all wrinkled if I use it since I'm allergic to ironing.

And I added this pants option just because it looks so comfy and happy at the same time, and if I were tall and willowy I would totally wear it!

So, what do you wear to go to sleep?  Or just to lounge around the house?

    1. That's why I think I need these PJ's. At least they make decent looking house clothes, right? I just realized the J. Crew nightshirts are cut really well and I wish they'd make them in a real button down version so I can wear them out, haha!

  2. My sleepwear is still stuck in my college days - i.e., as along as it's (semi) clean and comfy, I wear it, matching or not. I recently got a PJ set from Target and it just feels nice to be "put-together" for bed, hehe.

  3. In my opinion, the first thing of the sleepwear we need to consider of is the comfort thing, so we should care about what is the sleepwear made of, it is very important.
