I'm probably not the target demographic for these McDonald's Happy Meal toys, but when I started seeing these adorable minions pop up on my instagram feed, I felt that I needed them. I hadn't even seen the first movie (
until tonight) and still I wanted them. I hadn't been to McDonald's in a long time, and suddenly I became an expert in all the locations close to me. Thank goodness I discovered after the first two trips that it wasn't necessary to buy the Happy Meal to get the toys. My waistline and wallet were grateful I could buy just the toys for $1.99. Of course, I still had to check multiple locations over the course of weeks to get the complete set. And for your viewing pleasure, here they are:

My favorite among all of them is Dave Banana Blaster because of what he says. Isn't he the cutest?
Hopefully that's the end of my Happy meal toy collecting. Good thing the new Smurfs 2 toys that came out next didn't appeal to me.
